JLPT N4 Study Guide

Use the lists to learn and the tests to check whether you can use what you learned. Keep a separate record of mistakes in reading and listening.

1. Choose a small set of vocabulary and grammar, and read the example sentences. Review the kanji through the words that use them.
2. Read a passage without opening the translation first. Use word help for gaps, then check how the sentences fit together.
3. Attempt a listening exercise and review the answers. Use the next session for the skill that caused the most uncertainty.
