古墳時代後期。

These burial mounds were constructed during the late Kofun period.

現在、古墳一帯は国営飛鳥歴史公園の一部として整備が進められている。

At the present time, the whole area around the tumulus is being developed as a part of the Asuka Historical National Government Park.

直径23m(下段)及び18m(上段)、高さ5ｍの二段式の円墳である。

It is a two level style round burial mound, 23m diameter (lower level), 18m (higher).
