柿の木 (かきのき, Kaki-no-ki) is Persimmon tree, a Japanese food (fruits, plants).
What is Persimmon tree?
Kaki-no-ki ( Diospyros kaki ) means "persimmon tree". The ripe fruit has a soft jelly-like consistency. There are a couple of varieties, more or less astringent when not fully ripe. The "Sharon" is a variegated form of kaki from Israel, named after the fertile Plain of Sharon. While the fruit could also be just called "kaki", that world is also a generic term for "oyster" (カキ).
