仏ほとけ (hotoke)

仏ほとけの教おしえを勉強べんきょうしました。

I studied the teachings of Buddha.

知しらぬが仏ほとけ。

Change the bukka (flowers for the Buddha).

The statue of Buddha is hollow.

奈良ならは大仏だいぶつで有名ゆうめいです。

Nara is famous for Daibutsu.

彼かれは仏像ぶつぞうを木きで彫った。

He carved a Buddha statue from wood.

樒・仏花を立て替える。

Change the shikimi (Japanese star anise) and bukka.
