勅 (imperial order)

勅語中「年号月日」とある箇所は、実際の日付が記されている。

Where the imperial edict says 'year, month, date,' the actual date is written.

政友会の幹部達はこの「違勅」の論理に困惑したが、西園寺の決意は揺らぐことが無かった。
