What is Bracken shoots?
Warabi ( Pteridium aquilinum ) refers to the shoots of bracken (also known as the eagle fern or Eastern bracken fern). From spring to early summer , the shoots whose leaves are not open yet are collected and used as sprouts, and the starch obtained from the rhizome is used as "bracken flour".
