焜炉こんろ (konro)

野外やがいではコンロを使つかって料理りょうりする

We use a stove outdoors to cook.

「焜炉」「茶炉」「風炉」とも言われる。

It is also called 'konro' (portable cooking stove), 'charo' (furnace) and 'furo' (furnace).

プラスチックの皿さらはこんろにかけると溶とける。

A plastic dish will melt on the stove.

これらのことから、火袋部分を焜炉電気コンロ（電気抵抗）などに置き換えたものを使用することも多い。

From such reasons, ryoro with electric cooking stove (electrical resistance), a replacement of hibukuro part, is often used.

日本の竈も社会の高度化に伴って多様化し、七輪のような移動の簡便な焜炉が発展する以前より、長く広く利用されていた。

Japanese-style kamado increased in variation with the advancement of society, and they had been used widely for a long time before the portable cooking charcoal stove developed.

中期以降でも、少なくともインスタントラーメンよりは調理は簡便ではあるが、これの調理に必要な水や燃料・簡易焜炉（カセットガスコンロなど）といった他の備えも必要である。

Even after the midterm, at least cooking is easier than instant ramen noodles, but other equipment such as water, fuel, and a simple cooking range (a portable gas burner and others) necessary for cooking are required.

こと現代ではキャンプ用の屋外調理器具や携帯機器としての焜炉も発達しており、また保温性の高い魔法瓶もあることから、これらを利用することでより簡便に楽しむことも可能である。

Having a cooking stove evolved as outdoor cookware or portable equipment for camping and also having a thermos bottle which retains heat, we can now enjoy tea easily using this equipment.

しかし次第に文明が発達していく中で、調理用の熱源として焜炉ガスコンロのような他の燃料による簡便な調理用の炉が利用されるようになると、次第にその役目を終えて竈は姿を消していった。

However, as civilization advanced, and people came to use simple and easy furnaces for cooking, such as small cooking ranges and gas ranges, that used other fuels as heat sources for cooking, kamado gradually completed their role and disappeared.
