名月めいげつ (meigetsu)

法名：月輪寺殿崇鑑。

His homyo (a Buddhist name given to a person who has died or has entered the priesthood) was Getsurinjidensokan.

名月が中天にかかっていた.

The bright moon was high in the middle of the sky.

このことから芋名月とも言う。

For this reason, it is also called Imo Meigetsu.

中秋の名月と増水時を除く毎夜行われる。

It is conducted every night except for the day of harvest moon and when the river rises.

韓国では中秋の名月（8月15日(旧暦)）、潅仏会（4月8日(旧暦)）がある。

In Korea the Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15 in the old calendar) and Buddha's Birthday (April 8 in the old calendar) are celebrated.

旧暦の8月15日を「中秋」と呼ぶため「中秋の名月（ちゅうしゅうのめいげつ）」ともいう。

Since August 15th of the old calendar is called "Chushu," it is also called "Chushu no Meigetsu."

中秋の名月（十五夜）に飾られているお月見のお供え物を、この日に限って盗んでいいというもの。

Only on this day, they can steal decorated offerings for the moon viewing festival on the night of a harvest moon (jugoya [night of the full moon]).

十三夜は日本独自の風習であり、ちょうど食べ頃の大豆やクリなどを供えることから、この夜の月を豆名月または栗名月という。

The Thirteenth Night is an original Japanese custom, and the moon of the night is called Mame Meigetsu or Kuri Meigetsu, since beans (mame) and chestnuts (kuri) in season are offered.

また、旧暦8月は、秋（7月から9月）のちょうど中頃なので「仲秋」と呼ぶため「仲秋の名月（ちゅうしゅうのめいげつ）」と表記する場合もあるが、「中秋」は旧暦8月15日をさし、「仲秋」は秋を三つに区分したときの真ん中の期間をさす言葉であるので、「中秋の名月」が正しい表記である。

Also, since August of the old calendar is right in the middle of autumn (July to September) and is called 'chuushuu,' it is sometimes written as 'Chuushuu no Meigetsu,' but 'chuushuu' refers to August 15th of the old calendar and 'chuushuu' refers to the middle period when autumn is divided into three, so 'Chuushuu no Meigetsu' is the correct expression.
