さらさら (sarasara)

小川おがわの 水みずがさらさら 流ながれている

The water in the brook flows gently.

世に言う「さらさら越え」であった。

This was so called 'Sarasara-goe' (crossing over Sarasara mountain path).

木の葉このはがさらさらというのが 聞きこえた。

I heard the leaves rustling.

小川おがわがさらさらと 流ながれる 音おとが 聞きこえる。

We can hear a brook murmuring.

私たちはさらさらと流れる小川沿いにハイキングした。

We hiked along the burbling stream.

あの 二に 人にん、 元もとに 戻もどすつもりなんて 更々さらさらないみたいだし・・・。

And it seems they don't have the slightest intent of coming back so ...

雪はさらさらと降った. The snow came sifting down.木の葉がさらさらと風に鳴った. The leaves rustled in the wind.木の葉がさらさらというのが聞こえた。
