手拭い[てぬぐい] (tenugui)

汗あせをかくので 手拭てぬぐいを 首くびに 巻まいた

また手拭いなどにも印刷され、極めて普及している。

面を着用する際には、頭に手拭（面手拭い、面タオル）を巻き付けるのが一般的。
