日本書紀』には「兼知未然（兼ねて未然を知ろしめす、兼ねて未だ然らざるを知ろしめす）」とある。

"Nihonshoki" describes 'Kanete Mizen wo Shiroshimesu' which means 'he knew the things that would happen in the future.'
