大勢の門人の指導にあたりながら、文政12年（1829年）に『眼科錦囊（がんかきんのう）』を、天保8年（1837年）には『続眼科錦囊』を刊行した（この本のシリーズは19世紀の眼科医のバイブルとなった）。

While he was teaching of many disciples, he published "Ganka Kinno" in 1829 and "Zoku Ganka Kinno" in 1837 (These series of books became the bible of ophthalmology in 19th century).

To provide an external composition for mucosa, especially a composition for an ophthalmological and an otolaryngological use, expressing excellent antiseptic effect without compounding a conventional antiseptic and having high safety for an inflamed mucosa by increasing antiseptic efficacy of trometamol.
