漢和かんわ辞典じてんで漢字かんじの意味いみを調しらべたの。

I looked up the meaning of a kanji in a Chinese-Japanese character dictionary.

もしこの意見が妥当なら、漢和辞典の記載を根拠に「『邪馬臺』はヤマトと読める、『臺與』はトヨと読める」と言ったところで、大元にある通説の同義反復に過ぎないことになるが、「臺」の発音に関する中国語音韻論による議論はこの意見とは無関係である。

If this view is valid, then arguing on the basis of entries in Chinese-Japanese dictionaries that 'Yamatai can be read as Yamato and Taiyo can be read as Toyo' would amount to nothing more than a tautology of the underlying conventional theory, but discussion of the pronunciation of 'tai' based on Chinese phonology is unrelated to this view.
