しとしと (shitoshito)

春雨はるさめがしとしと 降ふっています

年（永正8年）、77歳で死去。

In 1511, Kanetomo died at the age of 77.1388

神亀3年(726年）2月29日建碑。

The monument was built on April 10, 726.1511

今日きょうは 一日中いちにちじゅう 雨うがしとしと 降 っていた。

It rained gently the whole day.

年に左大臣（1388年-1392年）となる。

In 1388, he became Sadaijin (Minister of the Left) (1388 - 1392).

そのため、しとしととあまり強くない雨を長時間降らせる。

梅雨入り当初は比較的しとしととした雨が連続することが多い。
