師走しわす (shiwasu)

師走しわすに 入はいると 忙いそがしくなります。

We all get busy in December.

雪の降る師走の江戸だった。

十二月の別名「師走」は、年末の慌ただしい様子を表す月名として、現在でもよく使われている。

Shiwasu, another name of December, is still frequently in use today to describe busy time at the end of the year.1811

年（文化8年）大いに奮発する事があって師走には駿河国府中の門人柴崎直古の寓居に籠もり、『古史成文』『古史徴』『古史伝』など古代研究の本を一気に数多書き上げる。

Between January and February 1812, he made strenuous exertions and shut himself up at a temporary residence of Naofuru SHIBASAKI, a disciple in Fuchu, Suruga Province, and he at once finished writing several books about Kodai Kenkyu (Ancient Study), including "Koshiseibun", "Koshicho" (Clarification of Early History) and "Koshiden" (Commentary on Ancient History).

師走の声を聞くとなんとなくあわただしい. When we feel that the end of the year is approaching, we somehow feel rushed.特に師走21日の「終い弘法」には、多くの人々が詰めかける。
