俳句はいく (haiku)

「さくら」という 言葉ことばを 使つかって 俳句はいくを 書かいたよ。

I wrote a haiku poem using the word "sakura."

私は 俳句はいくが大好きで、よく読みもするし自分で作りもする。

Loving haiku, I read them a lot and I write them myself (too).

彼は若いころから俳句を作ってきただけのことはあって、さすがに自然に対する観察眼が鋭い。

He has been composing haiku since his younger days. No wonder he has such a sharp eye for nature.

俳句は言葉が最小限に抑えられている。それ故に、表現されていないことを想像しなければならない。

Haiku use a bare minimum of words. Therefore, one has to imagine what is not expressed.

多く俳句がある。

There are many Haiku about it.

俳句とは「人間だよ」。

Haiku is to be 'human.'

俳句はいくは 季節きせつと 関連かんれんが 深ふかい。

Haiku are closely related to the seasons of the year.

今いまや 僕ぼくは 紛まぎれもない 廃人はいじんだ。

When I was in my first years of grade school, my father taught me a haiku and I longed to be a poet. On my Tanabata wish, I also wrote "Please make me a poet". Thirty years have passed and my wish has been granted. I am without doubt an invalid.

俳句を詠む（作る）人を俳人と呼ぶ。

A person who composes haiku poems is called a "haijin" (a haiku poet).

美うつくしい 風景ふうけいを 見みて 俳句はいくを 詠よんだ

I looked at the beautiful scenery and read some haiku aloud.

あれから３０ 年ねん、 願ねがいはかなった。
