甦る[よみがえる] (yomigaeru)

I recalled some nostalgic memories.

監督助手として小口忠や田中栄三らについたのを経て、大正12年2月、先輩監督の若山治のオリジナル脚本による『愛に甦る日』で24歳にして映画監督デビューを果たした。

After having served as an assistant to directors such as Tadashi OGUCHI and Eizo TANAKA, Mizoguchi, at the age of 24, debuted in February, 1923, as a movie director with "Ai ni yomigaeru hi" (The Resurrection of Love), which was based on an original script by a senior director, Osamu WAKAYAMA.1900

年に川上一座が欧米興行を行った際に録音したオッペケペー節のレコードが発見され、97年に『甦るオッペケペー節』という題でCDがEMIミュージック・ジャパンから発売された。

A phonograph record of Oppekepe-bushi which was recorded when the Kawakami troupe gave performances in Europe and the United States in 1900 was found, and a CD titled "Revived Oppekepe-bushi" was released by EMI Music Japan in 1997.

自然の風合いと香りを持ち、長期間にわたってダニやカビの発生を防止して、年月の経過と共に艶のある飴色に変色していき、畳表を裏返しすると新品と同様な鮮やかな色が甦る畳表の製造方法を提供するものである。

To provide a manufacturing method of a Tatami mat surface having a natural texture and odor and preventing ticks and mold throughout a long period wherein color changes into glossy amber with passage of time and a bright color as good as new is restored by reversing the Tatami mat surface.
