座敷ざしき (zashiki)

明日あしたはお 座敷ざしきでの 宴会えんかいになります。

We will have our banquet in a tatami-floored room tomorrow.

座敷雛（ざしきびな）は、愛媛県八幡浜市真穴地区に伝わる雛祭り行事。

Zashikibina is a form of the Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival) celebration inherited specifically in Ma-ana district, Yawatahama City, Ehime Prefecture.

ひと昔前までは、団扇敷きや団扇立てをどの家でも座敷や客間に備えられた。

In the past, every house used to equip Uchiwa-shiki (special material to set Uchiwa fan) and Uchiwa-tate (holder of Uchiwa fan) in a zashiki (Japanese style tatami room) or a drawing room.

世紀後半になると、江戸の町では大坂出身の鹿野武左衛門が芝居小屋や風呂屋で「座敷仕方咄」を始めた。

In the latter half of the seventeenth century, Buzaemon SHIKANO from Osaka began 'Zashiki Shikata Hanashi' (theatrical comic storytelling performed inside a house) at playhouses and bathhouses within Edo.

また料亭は、日本料理を堪能したり、接待や会食の場に利用したり、芸妓衆の舞の鑑賞やお座敷遊びなどの通常の用途の他に、しばしば展示会や各種の催し物の会場にも使われる。

Besides the usual enjoyment of Japanese cuisine, and as a place of receptions, feasts, appreciation of dance by geishas, and table games, ryotei are also used frequently as a hall for exhibitions or various events.

しかし、表面的に大きく変化していても、その中に一貫する極めて日本的な要素や傾向を指摘できる面もある（例：住居が和風の座敷から洋間に変わっても、室内に靴を脱いで上がる点では変わらない）。

However, even though it changed drastically on a superficial level, the Japanese traditional culture has an aspect of being able to point out very Japanese coherent elements and trends (e.g. even if rooms in the house changed from zashiki (Japanese style tatami room) to a Western-style room, the custom of taking off shoes when entering a house is not changed).

However, people's unbearable emotion against the fact that even a person like Tsunetada who received exceptional favor (needless to say, that was because he had outstanding capability and there was a recognition in the Imperial Court that he was necessary regardless friend or foe) behaved so coolly was directed to Tsunetada as anger and blame.
