Article 8 (1) A prefecture or interested person may, in accordance with the procedure as provided for by MAFF Ordinance, designate a type of agricultural and forestry product and propose to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries a Japanese Agricultural Standard should be enacted, accompanied by an original bill therefore.
