わさび (wasabi)

刺身さしみにわさびは 欠かかせませんね。

Wasabi is indispensable to sashimi.

古くは奈良時代、718年に出された「賦役令」（現代の法人税法施行令に相当）の中に「山葵」（わさび）の名前が見られる。
