minasan konnichiwa, hi toki desu.
Hello everyone, it’s Hitoki!
minasan wa rerorero o monosugoku hayaku iu koto wa dekimasu ka?
Can you all say “Rero Rero” super fast?
nihon no anime de JoJo no kimyou na monogatari to iu anime ga arimasu.
kantan ni sono anime o setsumei suru to JoJo no sekai ni wa sutando tte iu nanka monsutaa mitai na mono o daseru nouryoku ga atte
To put it briefly, in JoJo’s world there is an ability called “stand” that allows you to create monster-like things
sono sutando o tsukatteru jibun wa nan mo shitenai no ni, jibun no kawari ni sono sutando ga mono o panchi shite kowashi tari ugokashi tari suru koto ga dekimasu.
You yourself can’t do anything while using “stand” but what you create can punch, move or break objects for you
sarani tenki o ayatsuttari jikan o tome tari suru koto mo dekimasu.
Or they can even do things like control the weather and stop time
boku dattara isshun de betsu no basho ni ikeru nouryoku ka, moshikuha doubutsu to kaiwa ga dekiru nouryoku ga hoshii desu.
If it were me, I’d want the ability to travel anywhere instantly or to talk to animals
JoJo wa mou takusan no shiizun ga aru n desu kedo, sono naka de mo 1 ban yuumei to itte mo ii shiin ga arimasu.
There are many season of JoJo but there’s one scene that is most famous
It’s in “Stardust Crusaders”, JoJo part 3
saikin wa yoku miimu to shite tsukawareteru n desu kedo, menbaa no naka ni kakyouin tte iu nakama ga imasu.
Lately, a member of the group called Kakyoin who’s been in a lot of memes
na n desu kedo, aite no sutando no nouryoku de sono kakyouin no nisemono ga dete kimasu.
However in this episode, the opponents Stand causes a fake Kakyoin to appear
de, sono nisemono no kakyouin ga bero no ue de sakuranbo o rerorero shimasu.
Then the fake Kakyoin licks a cherry sitting on his togue
rerorero wa shitasaki de chiisana mono o namemawasu yousu o arawashite imasu.
Rero Rero is the Japanese Onomatopoeia for licking something small with the tip of your tongue
So if you see someone rolling candy around on their tongue,
" nan de amedama o rerorero shite iru no? " to iu fuu ni tsukau koto ga dekimasu.
You could say something like, “why are you rero rero-ing the candy?”
de mo sonna hito iru? jissai ni sonna hito itara kowakute hanashikakerarenai desu yo ne.
But are there really people who do that? If you saw it, it would be creepy, right?
a, hi toki, omatase...
Ah, Hitoki, sorry to make you wait
kowai, kowa sugiru.
Creepy… too creepy
kono nisemono no kakyouin ga, sakuranbo kuchi no naka de rerorero suru toki ni rerorerorerorero to iu fuu ni oto ga hairimasu.
When the fake Kakyoin licks the cherry, it makes a rerorerorero sound
sono shiin de wa daeki to ka bero ga riaru ni kakaretete, sukoshi shita kimochi warusa to sukoshi shita omoshirosa ga iroiro mazatte yuumei ni natta n da to omoimasu.
In that scene, his tongue and saliva are drawn realistically so it’s combination of creepy and hilarious that I think caused it to become famous
jitsu wa shirabeta tokoro ni yoru to, tomu hankusu ga mukashi yatte ita eiga de biggu to iu no ga aru n desu kedo
Actually, after doing some research, I saw that Tom Hanks made the movie “Big”
sono shiin kara aidia o ete JoJo no sakusha, araki sensei ga kaita to iu fuu ni iwarete imasu.
It’s said that Araki, the creator of JoJo got the idea for this scene from that movie
In the anime scene, he says “rero rero” really rapidly
JoJo is one of Japan’s most famous anime, and one of the most famous scenes is Rero Rero
ano hayai rerorero no supiido ni tsuite kuru.
If you can say rero rero that fast, that alone qualifies you to be a Japanese person
kore dake de nihonnin desu.
nihonnin ka dou ka o shirabetakattara, mazu rerorero o iwasete mimasu. soshite hayaku rerorero o iu koto ga dekireba sono hito wa nihonnin desu.
If you want to find out if someone is really Japanese, first ask them to say “rero rero”, if they can say it super fast, then they are Japanese
mou kuukou de mo pasupooto hairimasen. nyuukoku shinsa mo kantan desu.
If you can do that, you can enter the country without a passport and immigration will be a breeze
mou nagai retsu ni narabanakute ii shi, yubi o oku hitsuyou mo arimasen.
No more waiting in long lines, no more taking finger prints…
