Meaning & usage
を can mark the place you leave, pass through, or move along when used with a verb of motion. It follows a noun for a location or route, as in 家を出ます, 空を飛ぶ, or 道を行く. Common verbs include 出る, 通る, 渡る, 曲がる, and 走る. Do not confuse it with に or へ for destination, or で for where an action happens.
