Meaning & usage
も after a noun means also or too, as in あなたも, and it replaces は, が or を. After a number plus counter it emphasizes amount, meaning as many as in the affirmative, as in 三つも, and not even one with a negative verb, as in 一つもない. After a question word such as 何 or だれ, combined with a negative verb it means nothing or nobody, as in 何もない, while だれも with an affirmative verb means everybody.
