も (mo)

Meaning & usage

The particle も attaches after nouns and other words to add them to a topic, often with the nuance of 'even' or 'also', as in みんなも. It also appears in set patterns like でも ('anyone') and してもいない ('not even doing'), where it emphasizes extent or negation.
