それから means and then and introduces the next action or event after something already mentioned. It is used when describing steps, stories, or directions in time order. It is a conjunction that stands alone at the start of a sentence or clause, often after a comma, and it does not change form or attach to a verb or noun. It is neutral and common in both casual and polite speech.
