Meaning & usage
も adds the meaning of also, too, or likewise when something is included in addition to something else. It attaches directly after a noun or noun phrase, as in わたしも or 犬も猫も, and it can replace particles like は and が or follow particles like へ and で. Repeating も after two or more items often means both or all of them, so word order and what も follows determine what is being added.
