Meaning & usage
The suffix 屋 reads や and turns the name of a product into the shop that sells it or the person who sells it. It attaches directly to a noun, as in パン屋, 花屋 and 肉屋. With さん, as in パン屋さん, it often refers to the shopkeeper rather than the store itself. Note that 八百屋 means a vegetable store, not a shop selling eight hundred things.
