Meaning & usage
それなら is a fixed expression used to respond to something just said, meaning that if the situation the other person described is true, then the speaker draws a conclusion or suggestion from it. It stands on its own at the start of a sentence, so nothing needs to attach before it, and it appears in both casual and polite speech.
