Meaning & usage
ばかり follows the past (ta-form) of a verb to say that an action happened only a moment ago, as in 帰国したばかりだ for someone who has just come back. It can also follow nouns to mean that things are nothing but that item, a usage seen in スパッツやハーフパンツばかりだ.
