だけで(は)なく(も) (dakede ha naku mo)

Meaning & usage

だけで(は)なく(も) pairs two items, meaning the second one is true in addition to the first. It follows nouns or plain-form verbs, and the second item usually takes も. Adding は makes the contrast slightly stronger.
