Meaning & usage
から gives the reason for something, working like "because" or "so". It attaches to the plain form of verbs and i-adjectives, and to nouns and na-adjectives with だ (or です in polite speech). It can also end a sentence on its own when answering why, as in 行きたくないからだよ.
