みる (miru)

Meaning & usage

The verb みる follows the te-form of a verb (て + みる) to express trying an action to see how it goes or what the result is, as in 読んでみる or してみる. It can be conjugated like a normal verb, e.g. してみるつもり or してみること.

   I'll try to shape my ideas into a book.
