Meaning & usage
すぐ is an adverb meaning immediately, right away, or very soon, used when there is almost no delay before an action or event. It is placed before a verb, often as すぐに with the same meaning, while 今すぐ stresses starting right now and もうすぐ points to something happening in the near future. It does not conjugate and works in both casual and polite speech.
