なおさら (naosara)

Meaning & usage

なおさら emphasizes that something holds to an even greater degree than what was just stated, often following まして in comparisons. It typically appears at the end of a clause, after a full sentence or predicate, and works in both positive (even more so) and negative (much less) contexts.
