（っ）たって (tatte)

（っ）たって is a casual way to say a conditional, expressing that something holds even if the action or state in the previous clause occurs. It attaches to the past (ta-form) of verbs and い-adjectives; after verbs ending in った it appears simply as たって. Its tone is informal, fitting spoken rather than formal writing.
