Meaning & usage
思うに is a formal way to preface a statement with your own opinion, meaning "I think" or "in my opinion." It stands at the start of a sentence or clause and is followed by a full statement of what you believe, as in 思うに彼は善人だ. The tone is somewhat literary or stiff, so it suits written or serious contexts.
