にしたところで expresses that even in the case of someone or something normally expected to be an exception, the same limitation or situation still applies. It follows a noun, often a role or category such as 社長 or プロ, in the pattern Noun + にしたところで. It is a formal, written style expression for N1 level, and it does not pair naturally with a specific person indicated by a demonstrative plus pronoun.
