にしても (nishitemo)

にしても expresses concession, showing that even if one case is true or when considering different possibilities, the main statement still holds. It follows nouns and the plain form of verbs and adjectives, and appears in set expressions such as いずれにしても to mean in any case. It is neutral and common in both conversation and writing to frame a concession before giving a judgment or decision.
