Meaning & usage
を中心に shows that the noun before it is the main focus or core, with other related things included around it. It is used for main products, target groups, habits, or central places, often translated as mainly, centered on, or around. The set phrase を中心に attaches directly to a noun, as in 野菜を中心に or 若者を中心に, and the に is already part of the pattern. It is neutral and common in both conversation and writing.
