Meaning & usage
っけ turns a question into a casual check of something you once knew or should remember, like asking yourself or someone to confirm a forgotten detail. It follows plain-form verbs, だ, or です, as in 何日でしたっけ or 誰だっけ, and appears only in spoken, informal questions.
