Meaning & usage
それぞれ means each item or person is considered separately, often translating as each or respectively. It can stand alone before a phrase, or directly modify a noun as それぞれの, as in それぞれの自分の意見. It works with nouns and with quantity words like 2部ずつ, and is neutral in register.
