なあ (naa)

なあ adds an exclamatory or wistful tone, often expressing a wish or wondering, as in 〜ていたらなあ or 〜ばなあ. It typically follows a plain-form clause or conditional form and frequently appears with と思う, marking the speaker's inner longing or musing.
