Meaning & usage
The honorific prefix お combines with a noun (or a verb stem) and the copula だ to form a respectful expression about the subject, as in お手のものだ and おかあさん. It appears in both polite and casual sentences, and the examples also show お attached to everyday nouns like お茶 and お願い.
