Meaning & usage

結構 works as an adverb meaning 'quite' or 'rather', and in polite speech 結構です expresses that something is fine, sufficient, or that no more is needed, as in declining an offer. It typically follows a verb or particle phrase before です, and appears in formal, polite exchanges.
