それだけ (soredake)

それだけ expresses proportionate degree, meaning to that extent or all the more, often linking a cause or increasing condition to its result. It is used adverbially as それだけ before verbs, adjectives, and phrases like いっそう, and as それだけの before nouns to mean that much effect or value, often after ほど, a conditional ば form paired with ほど, につれて, or a reason with から and ので. It is neutral in speech and writing, but the degree must match a stated cause.
