っぽい (ppoi)

Meaning & usage

っぽい turns a word into an i-adjective meaning something has the quality of, or resembles, that word. It attaches to nouns (子供っぽい, 黒っぽい) and verb stems (いたずらっぽい, 生っぽい), and conjugates like any i-adjective.
