Meaning & usage
いかなる expresses any or no matter what kind, stressing that there are no exceptions. It is used in formal statements about rules, prohibitions, or general truths, often with a negative predicate to mean no N at all. It attaches as いかなる + noun + も, でも, or にも, as in いかなる理由でも. When the noun has adjectives or relative clauses, いかなる still comes first, before the modifier and noun.
