から言って (kara tte)

Meaning & usage

から言って follows a noun and means that a judgment or statement is based on that source, as in speaking from one's experience or standpoint. Note that から言って can also appear in literal uses of the verb 言う, such as saying something in reverse, so context determines the meaning.
