Meaning & usage

～といい～といい lists two representative parts of something to say both are equally good, bad, or striking, implying the whole is that way. It follows two nouns directly, as in 味といい香りといい, and is followed by an evaluation such as 最高だ or 完璧だった. It is a somewhat formal written pattern, and the two items should be different aspects of the same topic rather than unrelated choices.
