にいたっては (niitatteha)

Meaning & usage

にいたっては highlights an extreme or especially striking case within a list, often followed by a surprising figure or statement. It attaches to nouns, as in モロッコにいたっては or くらげにいたっては, and carries a written, formal tone typical of essays and reports.
