Meaning & usage
だの lists two or more items as representative examples with a critical, annoyed, or dismissive tone, like saying and stuff like that. It attaches to nouns and to verbs and adjectives in plain form, as in ビールだの, 行くだの, or 暑いだの, and is usually repeated in an XだのYだの pattern. It appears in complaints and negative judgments, so it should not be used for neutral enumeration.
